Following the successes of Tickbox and Chatterbox, acclaimed Scottish theatre - maker Lubna Kerr presents the final chapter of her insightful trilogy, a theatrical series inspired by Kerr’s own upbringing. 

 

Lunchbox, is about the impact of bullying seen the eyes of a troubled boy, Steven. It examines the situation of a Pakistani girl, Lubna, who gets in his path. Lunchtime drama club is her escape, until Steven joins. Can Steven be redeemed from bullying and find his purpose in life?  Do teachers have a role in shaping their students lives? Or Is a life of crime destined for Steven? This play examines the nature vs nurture debate. Choices vs expectation.  And what about Lubna?  Can she move on with her life?
